Overview
DeckDay is a daily card challenge app. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data We Collect
- Anonymous user ID — A randomly generated ID to track your streak and completed cards. Not linked to your name, email, or any personal information.
- Card completion data — Which cards you've completed and when.
- Streak and statistics — Your daily streak, total completions, and burned cards.
- Notification preferences — Whether you've enabled daily reminders.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- Your name, email, or any contact information
- Your location
- Your device contacts or photos
- Payment information (handled by Apple/Google)
- Any personally identifiable information
How We Use Your Data
- To track your personal progress and streak
- To show global completion counts (anonymous, aggregated)
- To send daily reminder notifications (only if you enable them)
- To improve the app experience
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google) — For anonymous authentication and data storage. firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Expo — For push notifications. expo.dev/privacy
- RevenueCat — For managing in-app purchases. revenuecat.com/privacy
Data Retention
Your anonymous data is stored as long as you use the app. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us. Deleting the app removes your local data; server data will be deleted within 30 days upon request.
Children's Privacy
DeckDay is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us immediately.
