PRIVACY POLICY
Daily Fortune
Last updated: August 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Daily Fortune mobile application (the "App") handles personal data. The App is provided by the developer shown in the App's Google Play listing.
1. DATA WE COLLECT AND PROCESS
a) Information stored locally on your device
If you use the birth chart and personalized reading features, the App stores your date of birth, optional time of birth, and place of birth in local storage on your device. Your generated fortune readings and app preferences may also be stored locally on your device.
The App does not transmit this information to the developer's servers, sell it, or share it with other users.
b) Advertising data
The App uses the Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) SDK to display ads. This third-party SDK may automatically collect and share data such as IP address, device or advertising identifiers, app interaction data (for example, app launches, ad taps, and video views), and diagnostic information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. An IP address may be used to estimate the device's general location. The App does not request or collect precise location data.
Google's processing of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
c) Notifications
If you choose to enable daily tarot notifications, the App requests notification permission. This permission is optional and can be turned off at any time in your device settings. Your notification preference is stored on your device.
2. HOW WE USE DATA
Data is used to:
- Generate birth-chart content and fortune readings;
- Preserve your reading history and app preferences on your device;
- Send daily notifications when you request them;
- Display ads, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud;
- Support the App's security, stability, and performance.
3. THIRD-PARTY SHARING
The App does not share your locally stored birth information or fortune-reading history with the developer or other third parties. Advertising-related data may be processed by Google and advertising-technology partners through the Google Mobile Ads/AdMob SDK for the purposes described above.
4. CONSENT AND ADVERTISING CHOICES
Where required, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present a consent form for advertising privacy choices. If the "Privacy options" item appears in the App's settings, you can use it to manage your choices later. Additional advertising preferences may be available in your device settings or Google Account settings.
5. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Locally stored App data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. You can delete local data through Android Settings > Apps > Daily Fortune > Storage > Clear data, or by uninstalling the App. This removes locally stored birth information, reading history, and preferences.
The retention and deletion of data processed by Google for advertising services are governed by Google's policies.
6. DATA SECURITY
The App stores the personal content it creates locally on your device and does not transmit it to a remote developer server. However, the security of advertising services delivered over the internet is governed by Google's systems and policies. No internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is not designed to knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal data, please contact us using the details below.
8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will be published with the "Last updated" date shown above. Where required, we will notify you of material changes through the App or this page.
